Lonoke County Libraries provide a vibrant and active genealogy and local history program. From classes, one-on-one assistance, active Facebook groups, and local history documents, our Genealogist can assist with your history needs. Being an active member of the genealogy landscape, the Genealogist has access to multiple historical newspapers and other research databases for research and consulting purposes.
Genealogy classes are held at all four libraries at the following times:
Cabot: Wednesday @ 2:00-3:00 pm and Thursdays 6:30-7:30 pm
Carlisle: Last Monday of each month 9:00-10:00 am
Lonoke: Last Monday of each month 11:00 am-12:00 pm
England: Last Monday of each month 3:00-4:00 pm
